What am I trying to do to help my liver? My liver can do the metabolism and detoxification.
Intermittent fasting. Eating in an 8 hr. window. No snacks in between meals. 16 hours of rest from food.
Great sleep...(no sugar/intermittent fasting...Jason Fung/Eric Berg, youtube).
Water...1/2 hr. before meals; none during; 1-2 hrs. after meal, drink water. I drink other fluids including water in-between meals, not with meals. Better stomach coating/digestion. (Barbara O'Neill, youtube).
Gummy multi-vits (includes Vit B) for better absorption ???
Fish oil (omega 3s, inflammation)...heart/brain/digestion/circulation/eyes (for now).
7 cups of veggies daily. (pH balance, electrolytes, sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, vitamins/minerals).
When eating meat, eating veggies (helps liver function, Eric Berg, youtube).
4 cups of (hot) water first thing.
Enjoying family and friends; going out to different events (sunshine!). Financial peace (Dave Ramsey, youtube). Relaxing more, no stress. Lite exercise.
Barbara O'Neill, youtube: The liver is the project manager.
Lots of benefits from fasting, enough sleep, water, vegetables...basically 3 square meals, no in between meals snacking. I can eat a "snack" only at the end of a meal.
Like Barbara O'Neill says: the stomach needs rest; the colon a routine, and the pancreas less insulin. She says start breakfast eating like a King, lunch...like a Queen, and dinner like a pauper. And sometimes paupers don't eat!
